Guidelines for Clubwoman Arts & Crafts Exhibits

Arts & Crafts will be exhibited at the District Level only. Your arts & crafts exhibits may be the highlight of your District Convention. Please plan to participate.

All entries must be delivered to the District Chairperson not later than the opening session time on the day of District Convention. Exhibits must be signed in at time of delivery and signed out at the conclusion of the convention.

Each entry must have a typed or printed label specifying the following: Clubwoman name, complete name of sponsoring club, the GFWC-MFWC District, and classification of the entry.

Entries must have been made during the current biennium.

Paintings may be matted and framed.

The classifications listed below are not inclusive. You may add to the classifications as needed.
Candlewick Ceramics Holiday Decorations Counted Cross-Stitch China Painting Paper Mache Cross Stitch Decorative Painting Stamping Crewel Decoupage Stenciling Crochet Pottery Wall Hanging Embroidery Sculpture Dolls French Hand Sewing Painting (Watercolor, oil, etc) Metal Crafts Fine Sewing Wearable Art - Apparel ** Wood Working Knitting Wearable Art - Jewelry ** Miss. * Mississippi Creations - Entries must be made from natural Mississippi products, such as wood, weeds, bark, shells, rice, soybeans, etc. ** Wearable Art - Clothing/millinery may be made from hand-loomed, knitted, crocheted or any other handmade fabric. Clothing/millinery may also be purchased but designs must be original. Jewelry of any material is acceptable. Design must be original.
