In May of 2007 the Mississippi Federation of Women's Clubs celebrated 108 years of service and collegiality. Extraordinary accomplishments to improve the communities, state, and nation where these dedicated women reside have been and are being achieved. The MFWC is an organization of more than 1,900 members in 80 clubs in the state of Mississippi that unites women of all ages for community service, legislative action, volunteerism, comradeship, and fun. These members are responsible for contributing 175,139.25 volunteer hours and $1,076,872 to 5,558 programs and projects in 2006. The MFWC is an affiliate of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) and is divided into five districts.
